The most modern production techniques are used in the manufacture of Harrison lathes and milling machines enabling precision machines to be built at reasonable cost. All Harrison lathes are manufactured to fine limits, and close tolerances can be maintained for many years service in tool rooms and for other exacting requirements.

Over the past 60 years the 11" and 13" swing lathes have become the most popular machines for use in schools, technical colleges and apprentice training departments.

These machines, which have not been used in a production environment, are now in circulation in the used market and often represent a good used buy for the small machine shop and home user. Spare parts and accessories are readily available.
