 It is over 60 years since Tom Senior started his engineering business in the West Riding of Yorkshire. As he turned his attention to the manufacture of machine tools, the skills and pride that were so important to the craftsmen of those days became the hall-marks of the milling machines which were to make his name.

Many of their finely crafted machines are coming onto the used market, having been very popular as advanced training machines in technical colleges and as one-off machines in a laboratory environment. These machines have also been (and still are) very popular with serious model engineers. Consequently most have been well looked after and have not been subjected to daily work in a production setting.

The machine illustrated is their M1 model which is a very sturdy, reliable, versatile and popular machine which is in the "built like a tank" class.

Tom Senior produced a range of accessories such as the vertical head, slotting head, rotary table and dividing equipment, all of which is illustrated below.

We usually have a good selection of M1's and some smaller models in stock together with accessories. Sometimes machines are broken for spares. Have a look at the links below and email us if you dont see what you want; it may have just come in.
